Take Muntari Back: Kontihene

Kontihene, a renowned personality in the music industry of Ghana, is of the view that Sulley Muntari should be pardoned by the country; otherwise, it would be a waste of a fantastic soccer talent.

Kontihene says each and every person errs in his life, but, people are forgiven when they show remorse for their actions and the same should happen with Muntari who is definitely regretful for what he did.

Kotihene reckons Muntari is doing fine at the club he is a part of at the minute which shows his skills have not deteriorated in the period he has spent outside the national set up and if he is taken back, it would only be a boon for Ghana.

Not much hope with Nigeria

Not too many Nigerian people are hopeful of the team booking a spot in World Cup finals, the reason being the group they are placed in. It’s the toughest group in the African qualification.

A senior official, Shuaib, who has been long involved in the domestic Soccer in the country, says one person who is pivotal in preparing a team for big campaigns is the head coach, but, in case of Nigeria, there is nobody even holding the post of the head coach at this point and now, getting caught between the top teams of the continent at group stage means they have no chance of competing in Russia at all.

Another person Ogunsanya who is a soccer expert and writer and has seen the Eagles closely of late believes the next coach must be from outside the country as nobody is currently there in the domestic circuit with supreme coaching qualities. Ogunsanya, however, does not expect overnight magic from an overseas coach.
